Doctor OPD App

Raxa set out to build a EMR system based on OpenMRS which comprised of both web and mobile modules and pilot it in Bilaspur. I was a volunteer first with Raxa and joined them full time as the first in-house designer/researcher leading the pilot and designing the various modules such as Lab, OPD tablet app. As a designer without a dedicated Product head, Raxa helped me leverage research and understand requirements of the different different healthcare setups in Urban and Rural India.

The pilot site was JSS Bilaspur and I conducted multiple research visits to understand the working of the setup. Registration personnel search through the patient records in Semaria Health Center run by JSS, Chat- tisgarh Apart from the core EMR modules the specific nature led me to study the Token System in Jan Swasthya Sahyog, Ganiyari to design for the registration experience

Design

The doctor’s module was redesigned user feedback to create a new interaction to aid easy input. This is the flagship module of Raxa EMR with Registration , Screener, Pharmacy modules working in sync Concept, Prototype + Testing, UI, Visual Design, App Icons and Flash Screens, Product management

Testing

Tested various desktop and tablet EMR modules in different setups ranging from a small clinic in Delhi to a Rural hospital in Chattisgarh handling 300 patients in single Out Patient day
